Machine Operator

Experience that would be beneficial

Prior experience in a similar machine operator, filler, or production worker role. Alternatively, skills such as the following are transferable:

• Prior experience operating automated filling, capping, or packaging machinery (creams, liquids, or cosmetics preferred)

• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tool experience for basic line setups and adjustments

• Experience working on fast-paced FMCG or pharmaceutical assembly and packing lines

• Knowledge of GMP standards, hygiene protocols, and batch record keeping

What a machine operator does

A machine operator is responsible for machinery set up, operation, and routine line maintenance on our automated Good Riddance cream filling line. Main primary duties include:

• Setting up, calibrating, and operating the cream filling and capping machinery

• Conducting regular in-process quality checks (fill weights, seals, and batch codes)

• Performing batch changeovers, line washdowns, and sanitisation

• Troubleshooting minor mechanical jams and line stoppages

• Completing line clearance checklists and batch documentation

• Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour + Super

• Shift: Day Shift | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No weekend work)
